At the Tableland Bridge Club you'll enjoy local, statewide and national competition with traditional country hospitality.


The Club The Tableland Bridge Club was established in 1982 and is incorporated in the State of Queensland. We are affiliated with the Australian Bridge Federation (ABF), which operates the national Masterpointing system, and the Queensland Bridge Association (QBA).

Location Our club is located in Atherton, the principal town at the heart of the beautiful Atherton Tablelands. You'll find us behind the Community Centre, Mabel Street, Atherton, opposite the Shire Council chambers. The Centre is operated by the Tablelands Regional Council as a contribution to local community organisations, and the Clubrooms are wheelchair accessible. There is ample parking behind the Community Centre.

Club rooms

Administration The Club is run wholly by volunteers. There are two bridge sessions per week with green, red and gold point events including zone, state and national competitions. Members regularly visit neighbouring Far North Queensland clubs and are welcome at any ABF affiliated club in Australia.

Club Rooms The Club enjoys comfortable clubrooms in the Mabel St. Community Centre, opposite the Atherton Shire Council chambers. Amenities include a historic 'Queenslander' building and garden, wheelchair access, on- and off-street parking.

Affiliation The Club is affiliated with the Queensland Bridge Association (QBA), and the Australian Bridge Federation (ABF) and participates in the the National Masterpoint Scheme. Membership includes access to the Club library with bridge books and monthly state and national newsletters. Members compete in the Far North Queensland Zone for travel subsidies to State and National competition finals.

Subscriptions and Fees Annual subscriptions are paid in January, table fees are paid at each session. Associates must be financial members of another QBA-affiliated club. Subscription: $50 for members and $8 for associates, table fees: members and associates $5 and $7 visitors.
